Lead the business development objective of profitable growth in Mexico by increasing sales through the addition of new clients and the expansion of existing clients.
The Director of Sales will be responsible for growing Shainin services within existing clients (automotive centric) and for developing new long term clients in Mexico (automotive and beyond). Shainin’s plan is to aggressively expand in the region by increasing both problem solving services and training services.
Skills and Functions
Candidates will possess significant experience in engineering, manufacturing, and operations. The Director of Sales will need to demonstrate:
A passion for selling and ensuring exceptional delivery of complex problem solving and training services.
The ability to develop long, lasting executive level relationships at existing clients to expand the breadth and volume of Shainin services.
The ability to target new clients and establish key relationships to introduce Shainin services.
Professional delivery of services, project/program reporting, and executive sponsorship.
Partnership with the Technical Director for Mexico to manage Shainin resources and actively recruit additional resources to support growth.
Effective delivery of Rolling Top 5 services and ability to teach the Rolling Top 5 Leadership class.
Development and execution of a sales and marketing plan tailored for Mexico leveraging the Shainin web site and other internet opportunities.
The ability to travel and schedule meetings with potential clients throughout Mexico and occasionally South America.
Working Experience Requirements:
Preferable Shainin methodology knowledge (certification as a Rolling Top 5 Executive or Manager, Red X Journeyman or Master).
Experience interfacing and presenting to manufacturing and engineering executives.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools required (Project, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
Experience in project management and managing parallel projects.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to take initiative and work independently without daily guidance.
Able to travel extensively within Mexico and occasionally to South America.
Minimum Education Requirements:
Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Experience executing Shainin or related quality improvement methodology required.
Outstanding written and presentation skills required for presenting and selling services.
